Welcome to McLean

McLean is a suburb just outside Washington D.C., a place called home by many politicians, high-ranking government officials, business moguls and diplomats. Having a small town feel but with all the amenities of a city on your doorstep, along with some of the highest-ranking schools in the U.S makes McLean highly desirable. The twisty roads of McLean were once the trails for horses and you can still spot an old farmhouse, but it certainly doesn’t feel rural any longer.

McLean boasts a robust little town center around the intersection of Old Dominion Drive and Chain Bridge Road, and just down Route 123 is the booming Tysons Corner Center, where two malls straddle the highway. Part of the George Washington Parkway winds its way along the eastern side of McLean along the Potomac River, designed for “recreational driving” the GW links important sites commemorating American History. You will find several parks along the Potomac River in McLean providing relaxing trails or more challenging hikes across the more rural rugged terrain. Clemyjontri Park is enjoyed by all and features a unique playground for children with all abilities, “where every child can play” Clemyjontri Park.

The most common styles of home in McLean are colonial, mid-century ranches and split-level ranging in price from $22,000,000 for a newly constructed French chateau to $180,000 for a 1 bed condo.
